Here is a sequence of shots taken throughout a recent garage roof project. The existing roof was badly sagging and rotten, as is evident in the first photo. The roof was completely torn off, down to the top of the block walls. The walls were then repaired, straightened, and reinforced by adding concrete and rebar in the hollow cores of the block.
A new roof was then constructed using engineered trusses and an OSB deck. Composite trim was used to wrap the rake and eaves, and new shingles were laid on the roof. Vinyl siding was
added to the gable ends. A new 4-section garage door with an electric opener completed the project.
